PXS-5120A is a potent, selective, irreversible inhibitor of Lysyl oxidase-like 2 (LOXL2) with IC50 of 5 and 6 nM (hLOXL2 and mLOXL2).
PXS-5120A is >300-fold selective for LOXL2 over LOX (pIC50=5.8), shows negligible substrate activity in vitro for related amine oxidase family members.
PXS-5120A also shows potent inhibition of LOXL3 (IC50=16 nM).
PXS-5120A inhibits the crosslinking of rat collagen in vitro with IC50 of 13 nM.
