PTP1B inhibitor BBR exhibit selectivity for PTP1B over the related phosphatase leukocyte antigen-related protein, LAR (IC50 > 500 uM), TC-PTP and PTP1B.
PTP1B inhibitor BBR enhances insulin signaling in cells.
