PRLX-93936 is a molecular glue that binds to and reprograms the TRIM21 ubiquitin ligase, causes TRIM21 to bind the nuclear pore protein NUP98, triggering nuclear pore complex (NPC) degradation.

PRLX-93936 induces loss of short-lived cytoplasmic mRNA transcripts and the induction of cancer cell apoptosis.

PRLX-93936 exhibits efficacy against pancreatic cancer xenografts and patient-derived organoids.
