PMX205 is a potent, selective C5a receptor peptide antagonist with IC50 of 30 nM.
PMX205 significantly prevented DSS-induced colon inflammation in both regimens, associated with lower pro-inflammatory cytokine production and nitrotyrosine staining in colon sections.
PMX205 is efficacious in preventing DSS-induced colitis increased the levels of anti-inflammatory cytokines IL-4 and IL-10, and was efficacious in preventing DSS-induced colitis.
