PKC inhibitor 6c (PKC-IN-6c) is a potent, brain permeant PKC inhibitor with IC50 of 80 nM, without detectable binding to the estrogen receptor (Ki>10 uM).
PKC-IN-6c effectively blocks amphetamine-induced locomotor stimulation, more potently inhibits PKC than tamoxifen and reduces amphetamine-stimulated dopamine efflux.
