PDE8 inhibitor 15 is a potent, selective phosphodiesterase 8A (PDE8A) inhibitor with IC50 of 11 nM (PDE8A), high selectivity over other PDEs.
PDE8 inhibitor 15 (2.5 mg/kg and 5.0 mg/kg, p.o.) significantly improved the cAMP level of the right brain and exhibited dose-dependent effects on cognitive improvement in a vascular dementia (VaD) mouse model.
