Nur77 agonist 8f is an orally active small molecule Nur77 agonist., induces ferroptosis by upregulating Nur77 protein expression, increasing reactive oxygen species (ROS) and lipid peroxidation levels, and decreasing GPX4 protein expression, has binding affinity to the ligand binding domain (LBD) of Nur77 with KD of 13.8 uM, induces Nur77-mediated ferroptosis, thereby exerting anticancer activity both in vitro and in vivo.
