Nigericin sodium is a research tool to disrupt intracellular H+ and K+ concentration, thus altering pH, membrane potential, and cell volum。
Nigericin sodium inhibits the Golgi functions in Eukaryotic cells.
Nigericin sodium is the canonical NLRP3 inflammasome agonist.
