    Negamycin is a dipeptide antibiotic that inhibits the initiation of protein synthesis.
    Negamycin also restores dystrophin expression in skeletal and cardiac muscles of the mdx mouse.
    Negamycin interferes with decoding and translocation by simultaneous interaction with rRNA and tRNA.
