NT150 (NT-150) is a potent, selective metabolically stable neurotensin receptor 2 (NTS2, NTSR2) agonist with Ki of 2.8 nM, has 22,000-fold selectivity over NTSR1.
NT150 reproduced the beneficial effects of NTS in cultured human and murine cells and ameliorated cardiac remodeling and dysfunction in both transverse aortic constriction (TAC) and myocardial infarction (MI).
NT150 induced cGMP production and suppressed prohypertrophic signaling in freshly isolated cardiac tissues from patients with heart failure.
