NSUN2 inhibitor MY-1B is specific, covalent inhibitor of RNA methyltransferase NSUN2 (IC50=1.3 uM) that stereoselectively react with the catalytic C271, has IC50 of 2.4 uM in RNA methylation assays.
MY-1B do not cross-react with other human NSUNs.
MY-1B shows IC50 values for effects on cell growth that ranged from10-30 uM in human cancer cell lines treated with theazetidine acrylamides for 48 h.
MY-1B suppresses NSUN2-tRNA interactions in human cells.
