NSC37215 is an effective small molecule inhibitor of three prime repair exonuclease 1 (TREX1) with IC50 of 4.72 uM and 30.32 uM for human and mouse TREX1 respectively.
NSC37215 exhibits a lower Kd with hTREX1 than that with mTREX1.
NSC37215 inhibits mTREX1 in binding DNA in EMSA assays, inhibits the nuclease activity of TREX1 by interfering with DNA binding.
