NSC260594 specifically blocks HIV-1 RNA encapsidation, binds to HIV-1 gRNA and exhibits potent antiviral activity.
NSC260594 also is a small molecule inhibitor of the Escherichia coli condensin MukBEF, affects MukB directly.
