NSC23005 sodium (p18-IN-40) is a specific, effective p18 (p18INK4C) inhibitor that can selectively promote HSCs expansion with EC50 of 5.21 nM.
NSC23005 sodium inhibits p18, and then activates CDK4/6, promotes HSCs expansion in both murine and human models.
NSC23005 sodium shows no activity in promoting the proliferation of leukemia cells, and no significant cytotoxicity toward 32D cells or HSCs.
