NMT1 inhibitor B13 (LCL4, D-NMAPPD) is a myristoylCoA analog that acts as a small molecule inhibitor of N-myristoyltransferase 1 (NMT1) with IC50 of 77.6 uM, blocks Src myristoylation and Src localization to the cytoplasmic membrane.
NMT1 inhibitor B13 attenuates Src-mediated oncogenic signaling, suppresses cell-cycle progression, proliferation, and malignant growth of prostate cancer cells.
NMT1 inhibitor B13 exerts anti-invasive and antitumor effects against prostate cancer cells, with minimal toxic side-effects in vivo.
