NCGC00131308 is a small molecule inhibitor that effectively disrupts IQGAP1-Cdc42 interaction in breast cancer cells, shows EC50 of 4.47 uM in biochemical HTRF assays.
NCGC00131308 exhibits a dose-dependent inhibitory effect on proliferation of MCF7 and MDA-MB-231 cells.
NCGC00131308 binds directly to Cdc42 with Kd value of 28.12 uM.
NCGC00131308 reduces the amount of active Cdc42 induced by EGF in MDA-MB-231 cells, thereby reducing filopodia formation induced by EGF, a phenotype that affects migration of cancer cells.
