NAT1 inhibitor Cmp350 is a potent small molecule inhibitor of arylamine N-acetyltransferase 1 (NAT1) with IC50 of 44 nM, inhibits mitochondrial respiration and alters mitochondrial metabolism in MDA-MB-231 cells.
NAT1 inhibitor Cmp350 decreases basal respiration and reserve respiratory capacity without affecting ATP production.
NAT1 inhibitor Cmp350 shows excellent inhibition in cells up to 100 μM without toxicity.
NAT1 inhibitor Cmp350 decreases maximum respiration rates in a reversible manner.
