N-Arachidonylglycine (NAGly, NA-Gly) is a carboxylic analog of the endocannabinoid anandamide (AEA) and endogenous ligand/agonist of GPR18 with EC50 of 44.5 nM, also is a endogenous agaonist of orphan G protein-coupled receptor GPR92 with EC50 of 4.47 uM.
N-Arachidonylglycine is present in bovine and rat brain as well as other tissues and that it suppresses tonic inflammatory pain.
N-Arachidonylglycine is also a reversible and non-competitive inhibitor of glycine transport by GLYT2a, but has little effect on glycine transport by GLYT1b or gamma-amino butyric acid transport by GAT1.
