Myricetin (Myricetol, Myricitin) is a flavonoid compound with antioxidant properties, inhibits ENPP1 enzymatic activity with IC50 of 4.8 uM.
Myricetin demonstrate significant improvement in heart function after injury in treated animal models.
Myricetin exhibited selective inhibition of cell growth (IC50 114.75 uM) and induced apoptosis in MDA-MB-231 cells.
Myricetin act as potential inhibitors of key tumorigenic signaling pathways, such as PI3K/Akt/mTOR, p38 MAPK and NF-κB. decrease the intracellular levels of ROS and pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as TNF-α, IL-1β and IL-6.
