MSC-1186 (MSC2711186) is a potent, highly selective pan-SRPK inhibitor with I50 of 2.7 nM, 81 nM and 0.6 nM against SRPK1, SRPK2 and SRPK3, respectively.
MSC-1186 exhibits highly potent cellular activity for SRPK1 and SRPK3 in HEK293T cells with EC50 values of 98 nM and 40 nM, respectively.
MSC-1186 displays excellent kinome-wide selectivity.
The combination of MSC-1186 with CDC2-like kinase (CLK) inhibitors showed additive attenuation of SR-protein phosphorylation compared to the single agents.
