ML281 is a potent, selective inhibitor of serine/threonine kinase STK33 with IC50 of 14 nM, >500-fold selective over PKA and AurB.
ML281 also displays clean selectivity against a panel of 83 kinases chosen for diversity and toxicity.
ML281 does not appear to significantly alter viability at 10 uM for KRAS-dependent (NOMO-1 and SKM-1) and KRAS-independent (THP-1 and U937) AML-derived cell lines.
