ML119 (CID1357397, MLS-0090801) is a potent, selective hematopoietic protein tyrosine phosphatase (HePTP) inhibitor with IC50 of 0.21 uM, displays 25-fold selectivity over MKP-3.
ML119 augments ERK1/2 and p38 activation in human T cells, prolongs activation of ERK1/2 and, especially, p38.
ML119 shows similar effects in leukocytes from mice intraperitoneally injected with the inhibitor at doses as low as 3 mg/kg.
