MDL72527 is a polyamine oxidase (PAO) inhibitor that inhibits spermine oxidase and N1-acetylpolyamine oxidase with IC50 of 6.1 and 0.02 uM, respectively.
MDL72527 significantly reduces ETBF-induced chronic inflammation and proliferation in C57BL/6 mice.
MDL72527 also reduces ETBF-induced colon tumorigenesis in the multiple intestinal neoplasia mouse model.
