MCT4 inhibitor CB-2 is a novel small molecule MCT4 inhibitor with significantly inhibitory effect on lactate secretion and striking cytotoxic activity against MDA‐MB‐231 cells.
CB‐2 shows anti‐tumor effects against human cancer cell MDA‐MB‐231‐driven xenograft tumors in nude mice.
A triple combination of metformin, trabectedin, and CB‐2 strongly inhibits the growth of breast cancer cells, inhibits HG‐induced breast cancer progression in vivo.
