MCHR2 antagonist 38 is a potent and specific MCH receptor subtype 2 (MCHR2) antagonist with IC50 of 1 nM in MCHR2 Ca+2 FLIPR assay, Ki of 13 nM.
MCHR2 antagonist 38 shows a very good selectivity against MCHR1 with no detectable MCHR1 activity in the MCHR1 FLIPR assay up to 50 μM or a MCHR1 binding assay up to 10 μM.
MCHR2 antagonist 38 displays 500-fold selectivity in a panel of 23 receptors in MDS-PanLabs.
MCHR2 antagonist 38 also demonstrates good pharmacokinetic properties across rat, beagle dog and rhesus monkey.
