MAPK13 inhibitor NuP-4 is a potent, selective MAPK13 inhibitor with IC50 of 15 nM, with no MAPK14 inhibition.
NuP-4 down-regulates basal-epithelial stem cell reprogramming, structural remodeling, and pathophysiology equivalently to Mapk13 gene-knockout in mouse and mouse organoid models of post-viral lung disease.
NuP-4 treatment can directly control cytokine-stimulated growth, immune activation, and mucinous differentiation in human basal-cell organoids.
