LQFM275 is a dual COX-2 and 5-LOX inhibitor with IC50 of 81 and 167 μM respectively, also inhibits myeloperoxidase (MPO) activity, exhibits anti-inflammatory and antinociceptive effects.
LQFM275 prevents the inflammatory damage caused by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) in endothelial cells.
LQFM275 reduces the nociception and hypernociception induced by carrageenan and LPS.
LQFM275 inhibits COX-2/5-LOX and myeloperoxidase (MPO) activity, thus reducing the inflammatory response.
LQFM275 treatment induces the mitigation of pro-inflammatory mediators while increasing anti-inflammatory cytokine levels.
