LF3 is a small-molecule antagonist of the β-catenin/TCF4 interaction with IC50 of 1.65 and 1.82 uM in AlphaScreen and ELISA assay, respectively.
LF3 potently and selectively inhibits activated Wnt/β-catenin signals in reporter cells (IC50=2.4-4 uM), does not cause cell death and interfere with the interaction of β-catenin with E-cadherin.
LF3 reduces tumor growth and induces differentiation in a mouse xenograft model of colon cancer.
