LDT409 is a small molecule, orally active partial agonist of pan PPARα/γ/δ with EC50 of 0.5 uM, 0.9 uM and 33 uM for huamn PPARα and PPARγ, respectively.
LDT409 activates PPARα target genes in primary hepatocytes in a gene-selective manner.
LDT409 differentially regulate the expression of PPARγ target genes and adipocyte differentiation in 3T3-L1 cells.
LDT409 demonstrates tissue-specific activation of PPARα and PPARγ in an in vivo zebrafish embryo model.
LDT409 reverses HFD-induced weight gain back to chow-fed control levels, improves glucose homeostasis and plasma lipids in HFD-fed mice.
