LDC7559 is a small molecule that efficiently blocks NET formation and GSDMD-mediated pyroptotic cell death in human cells, also is an inhibitor of NOX2-dependent NETosis.
LDC7559 inhibits NETosis independent of GSDMD but elicit identical phenotypes in neutrophils.
LDC7559 inhibits the NOX2-dependent oxidative burst in neutrophils by activating the glycolytic enzyme phosphofructokinase-1 liver type (PFKL).
