LCL521 is a small molecular inhibitor of acid ceramidase (ACDase), a lysosomotropic inhibitor with anticancer activity.
LCL521 targets lysosomes and increases total cellular C16 ceramide level, significantly decreased myeloid-derived suppressor cell (MDSC) accumulation in vivo.
LCL521 enhances the direct tumor cell killing effect of photodynamic therapy (PDT) treatment.
