KV10.1 inhibitor compound 1 is a selective inhibitor of the voltage-gated potassium channel KV10.1 with IC50 of 740 nM.
KV10.1 inhibitor compound 1 showed no significant inhibition against the KV1.1, KV1.3, KV1.4, KV2.1, KV4.2, NaV1.4, and NaV1.5 ion channels.
KV10.1 inhibitor compound 1 inhibited the growth of MCF-7 cells (IC50=5.48 uM), a breast cancer cell line showing high KV10.1 expression and low hERG expression.
KV10.1 inhibitor compound 1 was much less active on cells expressing hERG or on normal cells.
KV10.1 inhibitor compound 1 induced apoptosis efficiently in Colo 357 cells.
