KBP-7072 has demonstrated potent in vitro activity against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), penicillin-resistant Streptococcus pneumoniae, and vancomycin-resistant enterococci.
KBP-7072 has received qualified infectious disease product (QIDP) and fast-track status for CAP.
