KB-208 is a small molecule phagocytosis inhibitor with IC50 of 4.2 uM in human PBMCs, shows no significant toxicity.
KB-208 is also able to inhibit phagocytosis in a murine system, albeit at a higher IC50 values.
KB-208 shows efficacy to ameliorate experimental ITP and AIHA, reverses ITP and/or AIHA, or cooperate with IVIG to increase efficacy.
KB-208 ameliorates immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) in mouse models with similar efficacy as IVIG, without in vivo toxicity.
