K2071 is a potent, BBB penetrant STAT3 inhibitor, inhibits IL6-stimulated activity of STAT3 mediated byTyr705 phosphorylation, shows cytotoxicity against a set of human glioblastoma-derived cell lines.
K2071 is cytotoxic for glioblastoma cell lines. Human glioblastoma cell lines U-87 MG.
K2071 inhibits the growth of glioblastoma tumor spheroids.
Cytotoxic effect of K2071 is STAT3 inhibition-independent.
K2071 induces accumulation of mitotic cells. antimitotic activity arresting cells in prophase by altering mitotic spindle formation.
K2071 harbors a cytotoxic effect on TMZ-induced senescent glioblastoma U-87 MG cells and suppresses MCP-1 secretion.
