IV-255 is a next-generation selective inhibitor of BRG1 bromodomain, inhibits SWI/SNF complex and enhances DNA damage and cell death in glioblastoma.
IV-255 only enhances TMZ-induced death in GBM cells that express the BRG1 subunit, has no such effect in BRG1KO GBM cells.
IV-255 increases the amount of DNA-damage induced by TMZ and bleomycin.
IV-255 (20 uM, 24h) inhibits cell invasion and IFN-induced gene expression in MT330 and LN229 GBM cells.
IV-255 reduces the IFN-induced expression of CXCl11, increases IFN-induced expression of STAT1, IRF1 and IRF7 in GBM cell lines.
