Hopantenate Calcium (HoPan) is a pantothenate analogue hopantenate (HoPan) widely used as a modulator of coenzyme A (CoA) levels, inhibits pantothenate kinase (PanK), the first enzyme of CoA biosynthesis, also inhibits inhibits the next enzyme phosphopantothenoylcysteine synthetase (PPCS) in CoA pathway.
