HDAC8-IN-22d is a potent, selective HDAC8 inhibitor with IC50 of 27.2 nM, exhibits no activity against other HDACs and limited activity against HDAC1 and 3.
HDAC8-IN-22d shows antiproliferative effects toward several human lung cancer cell lines (A549, H1299, and CL1-5).
HDAC8-IN-22d exhibits cytotoxicity against human lung CL1-5 cells (IC50=7.0 uM) similar to that of SAHA yet without significant cytotoxicity for normal IMR-90 cells.
