GSK2256294A is a potent, selective soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH, EPHX2) inhibitor with IC50 of 27/61/189 pM for recombinant human/rat/mouse sEH, respectively.
GSK2256294A exhibites potent cell-based activity, a concentration-dependent inhibition of the conversion of 14,15-EET to 14,15-DHET in human (IC50=6.83 nM), rat and mouse whole blood in vitro, and a dose-dependent increase in the LTX/LTX diol ratio in rats; orally active.
