GS-6201 (CVT-6883, GS-6201) is a specific and selective A2B adenosine receptor antagonist with Ki of 22 nM, >50-fold selectivity over A3, A1 and A2A receptors.
GS-6201 (0.4, 1.0, or 2.5 mg/kg i.p.) significantly attenuated aerosolized NECA elicited concentration-dependent increases in Penh.
GS-6201 (1 mg/kg i.p.) attenuated allergen challenge induced late allergic response in sensitized mice.
GS-6201 (4 mg/kg, i.p.) attenuated cardiac remodeling after acute myocardial infarction in the mouse.
