GD433 is a potent, selective and substrate competitive inhibitor of N-terminal methyltransferase 1 (NTMT1) with IC50 of 27 nM.
GD433 interacts with NTMT1 with a dissociation constant (Kd) of 36.9 nM.
GD433 is selective for NTMT1/2 over 40 other methyltransferases (G9a, PRMT1, PRMT7, NNMT, and SETD7).
GD433 potently inhibits NTMT1 and its close homolog NTMT2.
GD433 significantly reduces me3-RCC1 and me3-SET with an approximate IC50 value of <30 nM in HEK293 cells.
GD433 promotes myogenic differentiation and enhances muscle regeneration in mdx mice.
