Forsythiaside A is an orally active phenylethanoid glycoside isolated from the dried fruits of Forsythia suspensa within anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, and antioxidant activities, inhibits NF-κB activation and up-regulates the expression of Nrf2 and heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1).
