    Foliglurax hydrochloride (PXT002331) is a potent, selective, brain-penetrant and orally bioavailable mGluR4 positive allosteric modulator with EC50 of 79 nM.
    Foliglurax shows more than 15-, 110- and 50-times higher selectivity for mGluR4 than for mGluR6, -7, and -8, respectively, no effect on NMDA, AMPA, kainate, group I or group II mGluRs, COMT, MAO-A or MAO-B (IC50>10 uM).
    Foliglurax demonstrates significant antiparkinsonian activity in rodent models of PD motor symptoms.
