Fenoldopam (SKF82526) is a potent, selective dopamine-1 (DA-1) receptor partial agonist with EC50 of 55.5 nM in stimulating cAMP accumulation in LLC-PK1 cells.
Fenoldopam (SKF82526) blocks by the DA1-selective antagonist Sch 23390.
Fenoldopam (SKF82526) is a potent, selective, orally active renal vasodilator which acts, at least in part, through stimulation of renal vascular dopamine receptors and is without significant effect on central dopamine receptors after systemic administration.
Fenoldopam (SKF82526) shows potent renal vasodilating properties.
