FOXM1 inhibitor NB-73 is a small molecule inhibitor of transcription factor FOXM1 with Ki value of 14 nM and IC50 of 73 nM, bind directly to FOXM1 and alter its proteolytic sensitivity, reduces the cellular level of FOXM1 protein.
NB-73 suppresses breast cancer cell proliferation and cell cycle progression and increase apoptosis.
NB73 decreases expression of FOXM1-regulated genes and suppress gene ontologies under FOXM1 regulation.
NB73 suppresses myeloma in cell culture and human-in-mouse xenografts using a mechanism that includes enhanced proteasomal FOXM1 degradation.
