EP4R antagonist 77 is the sodium salt of EP4R antagonist 74, a potent, selective EP4 receptor antagonist with Ki of 11.2 nM.
EP4R antagonist 77 dose-dependently prevented mechanical hypersensitivity induced by an intraplantar injection of 10 μg of PGE2. EP4R antagonist 77 exhibited anti-allodynic and anti-inflammatory activity in several preclinical pain models in mice.
