EAD1 is a potent autophagy inhibitor, exhibits growth inhibitory activity in human cancer cell lines, H460 and HCC827 NSCLC and BxPC3 pancreatic cancer cells with IC50 of 11, 7.6, and 5.8 uM, respectively.
EAD1 increases punctate LC3 expression in lung cancer cells.
EAD1 has increased growth inhibitory and autophagy-inducing potencies compared to CQ and HCQ.
