DSM 74 is a potent, orally active PfDHODH inhibitor (IC50=0.3 uM) with antimalarial activity.
DSM 74 shows good plasma exposure in mice and is equally potent against PfDHODH and PbDHODH.
DSM 74 suppresses growth of P. berghei in mice after oral administration.
