DFMO (Ornithine Decarboxylase inhibitor DFMO) is an irreversible inhibitor of ornithine decarboxylase (ODC), inhibits polyamine biosynthesis.
DFMO displays antiapoptotic, antiangiogenic and antiparasitic activity, synergistically reduces cell viability in NB cells when combined with AMXT-1501, reduces tumor progression and prolongs survival in mouse models of neuroblastoma combined with DFMO.
