DDX3-IN-16d is a small molecule inhibitor (IC50=0.3 uM) of DEAD-box polypeptide 3 (DDX3), a human host factor required for the replication of several DNA and RNA viruses.
DDX3-IN-16d shows a broad spectrum of antiviral activity with EC50 of 0.97-16.5 uM (HIV, HCV, DENV, and WNV), retaines full activity against HIV drug-resistant strains (EC50<1 uM).
DDX3-IN-16d exhibts a good safety profile and bioavailability in rats.
